This business was started by the vision of Max Givens in the mid 1970’s with a tax refund check, a borrowed pickup truck, and a single car garage to work out of. I grew up watching my father grow the business into the largest pressure washer companies in Tulsa and surrounding area.

In the late 1980’s he sold the business and took little time off before realizing how much he missed interacting with the public. Meanwhile I graduated college and was looking for my future path in life. After discussing we decided to start a business again focusing on giving the customer same quality products and service, but not getting too large. Hence A-Maxco was born.

This would allow more one on one with the customers and also allow us to give them a better price on equipment and supplies.

A-Maxco has been proudly selling Whitco/Alkota Cleaning Equipment since picking up the first unit we ever sold in that borrowed truck when I was only 8 years old riding shot gun.
